He'll explain and demonstrate the core mechanics of GraphQL servers and highlight best practices for connecting your API to a database using the open-source "GraphQL ORM" layer provided by Prisma and GraphQL bindings.

GraphQL immensely boosts productivity of frontend developers. This allows for faster development and iteration cycles. However transitioning an entire backend to GraphQL is quite a bit of work.
